Back in July I planned out my publishing schedule for the rest of the year.
It was ambitious.
And a little nuts.
And it made me nervous.
You see, in the indie publishing world we don’t have agents and publishers spending $$$ promoting us. But what we do have is algorithms. Specifically, Amazon’s algorithms.
And do you know what they like?
Rapid releases. The quicker you can release books, the more attention you get.
Sounds easy, but writing books fast is hard.
I 100% love my job, but it’s not easy.
Which is why I want to say thank you to each and every one of you who have read my books, left a review, followed me on social media, or dropped me an email.
You, lovely reader, are the reason I write.
Thank you for being awesome.
I’m happy to say that with the release of the Spirited Sweets Boxed Set , I’ve accomplished what I set out to do back in July. Between Oct 24th and today (so 5 weeks) I released 3 novellas, 1 full-length novel, a boxed set, and participated in a couple anthologies, too.
I’ll be closing out 2018 by writing another Spirited Sweets mystery, an anthology short story, and starting a new full-length novel. And I hope you’ll enjoy reading them with me.
Oh, and if there’s something you’re on the fence with trying? Just do it.
Bonus points if it makes you nervous.
P.S. The new boxed set is now available in ebook and paperback at a sweet low price. I heard it makes the perfect gift for the cozy mystery lover in your life (even if that’s you!)
It includes the recipe to Claire’s FAMOUS cinnamon rolls. I made a batch myself this morning (I had to triple check that the recipe was perfect. Wait, who am I kidding? I don’t need any excuse to bake these deliciously good rolls.)
